Margaret married Sir Sueton GRANT de jure 3rd Baronet of Dalvey, son of Duncan GRANT of Kinveachy and Unknown. (Sir Sueton GRANT de jure 3rd Baronet of Dalvey was born about 1655 and died by 1752.)

He was served heir to Ludovick Grant of Dalvey on 24th February 1701 in the lands of Dalvey but sold them in the same year to Patrick Grant of Inverlaidnan, whose sister Margaret he married. He afterwards resided in Aird of Dalvey, Gaich of Carbrach and Dauch of Blackwater."

The Baronetcy was inherited, and Sueton Grant was the nearest heir in line to the 2nd Baronet of Dalvey, Ludovick Grant. Their grandfathers had been brothers, sons of of Duncan McCondacht Grant in Gartinbeg.

The Baronet could not sell his title but could sell the land he owned.
