Daughter married Thomas KENNEDY 5th of Bargany, and of Ardstinchar, son of Alexander KENNEDY 4th of Bargany, and of Ardstinchar and Mariote DUNBAR.¹ (Thomas KENNEDY 5th of Bargany, and of Ardstinchar was born about 1510 and died before 10 October 1564.)

  Marriage Notes:

"In 1527 Alexander Kennedy of Bargany grants a discharge to Gilbert, Earl of Cassillis, of £100 Scots, which sum Dame Catharine Kennedy, his mother, by her will, ordered to be paid to the Earl, in part of a greater sum due by the contract of marriage between the said Alexander Kennedy, as taking burden for ----- Kennedy, his son and heir, and by the Earl, as taking burden on him for his daughter."
