michael; educated at King's College, Aberdeen; M.A. (28th March 1789); licen. by Presb. of Elgin 3rd Dec. 1794; assistant in this parish; pres. by Sir James Grant of Grant, and ord. 7th Nov. 1798; died 13th Sept. 1829. He marr. 8th Nov. 1798, Jean Duff (died at Forres, 10th Jan. 1838, aged 72), daugh. of Lewis Grant, min. of this parish, and had issue Lewis, died at Portsmouth, 5th Jan. 1838; John, died 1808; Margaret (marr.
