Jean married Captain Henry GORDON, son of Charles GORDON 6th of Terpersie, Jacobite 1745 and Margaret GORDON.¹ (Captain Henry GORDON was born about 1732 and died on 22 November 1779.)

Harry/Henry Gordon was clearly not a Jacobite like his brother and father. Although this numbered entry does not mention Terpersie it is the numbered entry in the Gordons Under Arms to which the entry for Charles Gordon 6th of Terpersie, Henry's father, points. ¹

Jean next married William DUNCAN in Culdrain after 22 November 1779.¹ (William DUNCAN in Culdrain was born about 1740.)
