Henry married Jean GORDON, daughter of John GORDON in Drumfergue, Jacobite 1745?, ancestor of Gordons of Coynachie and Culdrain and Elizabeth GORDON.¹ (Jean GORDON was baptised on 31 December 1743 in Gartly parish, Aberdeenshire, Scotland ² and died on 5 April 1796 ¹.)

Harry/Henry Gordon was clearly not a Jacobite like his brother and father. Although this numbered entry does not mention Terpersie it is the numbered entry in the Gordons Under Arms to which the entry for Charles Gordon 6th of Terpersie, Henry's father, points. ¹
