Katherine next married Sir George AUCHINLECK younger, 2nd of Balmanno, Senator of the College of Justice, son of George AUCHINLECK of Balmanno, jure uxoris and Mary DOUGLAS, before 5 May 1629.1 (Sir George AUCHINLECK younger, 2nd of Balmanno, Senator of the College of Justice was born about 1555 and died before 23 February 1639 2 3.)

Sir Andrew (Murray) died in December 1624, having married (contract dated 18 and 19 April 1600) Katherine daughter of Sir William Menteith of Kers. She married, secondly, before 5 May 1629, Sir George Auchinleck of Balmanno, a Senator of the College of Justice."
