Winkston Farm lies to the north of Peebles near the A703 of the east side of Eddleston Water.
"The old house of Winkston stands immediately behind the present farmhouse of the same name. In origin the building is a tower-house of mid-16th century date."
This description was noted from documentary sources in the early and mid 20th century and nothing may now be visible.
"The Cornmill, Winkston, Peebles, Peeblesshire EH45 8PH", a residentail property was advertised for sale on 2 April 2014 for £300,000.
