The 1900 US Census recorded George Park, his wife Ellen and their two children, 2 year old daughter Ellen and 7 month old William. living in Precinct 18, Jefferson, Alabama. George Park was recorded as born in January 1870 in Scotland, as were his parents. George's year of immigration to the USA was noted as 1888, and he was a naturalised citizen. He worked as a coal miner. Both he and his wife could read, write and speak English.

George Park and his family were recorded living in Jefferson County Alabama by the 1910 US census. George was 38 years old and had been born in Scotland as had his parents. He had immigrated about 1890 and was a naturalised citizen. George was a worker in a coal mine. With him lived his wife "Allen P. Park", also Scots born, and his daughters Ellen, aged 12 years, and Gracie aged 1 year 2 months.

In 1920 the US census for that year recorded George and Ellen Park living in precinct 18 Jefferson Alabama. George was recorded as 48 years old, of Scotch ancestry and "tongue". His year of immigration this time was noted as 1892 and the year of his naturalisation as 1896. He worked as a coal mine foreman.

According to the 1930 US Census George and Hellen Park were living on Bankhead Highway, Sandusky village, in precinct 29 outside Birmingham city in Jefferson County, Alabama. George Park was a home owner, with a home valued at $4000. He was aged 60 years and had been married for 38 of them. Of Scottish birth and ancestry, he now was recorded as speaking English. George married Helen QUIGLEY, daughter of Thomas QUIGLEY and Helen BARBOUR, on 24 December 1895 in Blossburg, Jefferson, Alabama, USA.1 (Helen QUIGLEY was born 3 April 1873 at 7.00 pm in Blair Street, Galston, Ayrshire, Scotland 9 10 and died on 23 December 1957 in Birmingham, Jefferson, Alabama, USA 11 12.)
