'Another Salterhill Gordon took a trip to Ireland, in the person of the notorious Lewis Gordon of Aikehhead, in the parish of Drainie, who, when he got into trouble at home, crossed the Channel to Ireland in 1682, in the beginning of the eighteenth century.
