Anna married Sir Simon FRASER 2nd of Lovat, son of Sir Simon FRASER 1st of Lovat and Marie BISSET co-heiress of Lovat.¹ (Sir Simon FRASER 2nd of Lovat was born about 1272 and died in 1306 ¹.)

"Simon Lord Fraser of Lovat the second of that name married at Court long before his fathers death to Anna Weemes Thane of Fifes (corrected in the margin by the editor to 'Laird of Weems') one daughter, with whom he had 3 sones and 4 daughters, Alexander, Simon, Hugh, Anna Margret, Mary, and Jean. This Lord was served and retoured to his father in the convention at Forfar, anno Xristi 1288. His eldest sone Alexander dyed at his return of a malignant fever in Lovat about the 7 year of his age."
