Thomas married Mary O'DONNEL (DNA Link), daughter of John O'DONNELL and Mary McGUNNIGAL (DNA Link), on 16 August 1901 in RC Chapel, Cleland, Lanarkshire, Scotland. (Mary O'DONNEL (DNA Link) was born on 27 October 1880 in Chapelhall, Holytown district, Bothwell parish, Lanarkshire, Scotland 3 and died on 14 October 1951 in Hempstead, New York, USA 4.)


  Marriage Notes:

The marriage was celebrated after banns according to the rites and forms of the Roman Catholic Church. Patrick Hackett married the couple. The witnesses were John McNielly and Maggie O'Donnell.

Thomas Devlin was a quarryman, aged 22 years. He was a single man and lived at North Shaws, Cleland, West District of Shotts. His father, John Devlin, a general labourer, was deceased, but his mother, Bridget McAvey, was living.

Mary O'Donnell was also single. She was 19 years of age and lived at 53 Omoa Square, Cleland. She was a brickfield worker. Her father was deceased.

The marriage was registered at Cleland on 19 August 1901.
