The three daughters of Peter Meldrum were served heirs portioner to Mr. John Hay of Logie, their uncle. Before 1696 David Stewart and James Gordon had acquired Mrs. Cumming's right, as they alone appear as portioners of Logie in the Poll Book (ii., 48). 2
Elspet married Reverend Mr David CUMMING Minister of Edinkillie, Moray, son of John CUMING 2nd of Relugas and Unknown, before 16 January 1674.1 (Reverend Mr David CUMMING Minister of Edinkillie, Moray was born about 1649 1 and died in 1699 1.)
