General Notes: Ann Crawford's death certificate of 1870 recorded that she was "married to James Crawford Soldier (Marine)". 4 James married Ann FEELY, daughter of James FEELY and Sarah FARREL, on 11 July 1864 in Carnwath Manse, Carnwath, Lanarkshire, Scotland.1 (Ann FEELY was born in 1842, baptised on 4 May 1842 in Shankill RC parish, County Armagh, Ireland 5 and died 20 February 1870 at 3.10 pm in Turfholm, Lesmahagow, Lanarkshire, Scotland 4.). The cause of her death was consumption. Marriage Notes: The marriage was celebrated after banns according to the forms of the Church of Scotland. Alexander Hugh McLean, Minister of the Parish of Carnwath, married the couple. The witnesses were H. S. McNeill and Alexander Massan (? unclear). |
