John married Marjorie DUNBAR, daughter of George DUNBAR 11th (and last) Earl of Dunbar and Beatrix, February 1423(1424).1 (Marjorie DUNBAR was born about 1398 and died after April 1433 1.)
Marriage Notes:
"Marjorie, who married John, afterwards Sir John Swinton of that Ilk, about February 1423-24. They had issue one son. Sir John was killed at Verneuil, 17 August 1424."
