Bernard O'Neill and Arthur O'Neill were occupiers of house, offices and about seventeen acres of land, leased from Lord Lurgan, in Cornaginnegar, Shankill parish, County Armagh in about 1864-1865. The total annual value of rateable land and buildings was recorded as £12 5/- for Bernard and £13 15/- for Arthur. Bernard O'Neil, younger, leased a house and garden from the two men.
In Ireland, Griffith's Valuation, 1847-1864, under Cornakinnegar in the Parish of Shankill in the barony of Oneilland east, are listed the names of Bernard O'Neill, Arthur O'Neill and Bernard O'Neill jun. Further down Henry Neill is also found. 1
