"Ladye Isabelle Hay" was one of the "Three Noble Ladyes" who were the subject of Blakhal's Breiffe Narration. (A Breiffe Narration by Gilbert Blakhal)

"Isabel, baptized 11 April 1611. In her father's will, 1628, she is styled youngest daughter, and she had a birth brieve under the Great Seal dated 30 July 1635, which seems to indicate that some great match was being negotiated for her at that time, but she died unmarried."
