Isobel married Sir John OGILVY of Lintrathen, son of Sir Walter OGILVY of Carcary and Lintrathen, High Treasurer of Scotland and Isabel DURWARD.¹ (Sir John OGILVY of Lintrathen was born about 1402 and died by 1 August 1489 ^{1 2}.)

  Marriage Notes:

"He (Sir John Ogilvy of Lintrathen) is also said to have married Marion, second daughter of Sir William Seton of Seton .... but there is no authority given for this statement." (page 113)

"p. 113, 1. 23, after 'statement,' add 'He certainly married Isobel Forbes, who survived him. On 1 August 1489, she executed a revocation of deeds done by him in prejudice of her rights (Aberdeen Burgh Sasines).' "
