The lady last mentioned married as her second husband General Alexander Gordon of Auchintoul of the Coclarachie family, who commanded the right wing of the Highland Army under the Earl of Mar's auspices at the battle of Dunblane in 1715, but she left no issue by this second marriage." ¹
