Janet next married Duncan STEWART, son of Alan STEWART 3rd of Appin and Daughter CAMERON, after 1529.1 (Duncan STEWART was born about 1495 and died before 10 September 1547 (dvp) 2.)


  Marriage Notes:

"Duncan (Stewart) married Jonet Gordon, daughter of the Earl of Huntly, who had obtained the neighbouring territory of Lochaber. In 1558 John Campbell of Calder, Commendator of Ardchattan Priory, granted to Jonet Gordon, Lady of Appin, in consideration of payments by her for repairing the church and monastery, the two merk lands of Yriskay and Dyrremeanach for a yearly payment of £4 Scots, and in 1562 she resigned these lands to John Campbell, the natural son of the Commendator."
