Cause of his death was suffocation from paraffin lamp and congestion of heart, lungs, kidney and bladder over 4 days. General Notes: In David Gordon's death certificate of 1893 he was recorded as a land surveyor and widower of Helen Cowie. His recorded age at death was 74 years. Both of his parents were deceased. 3 Medical Notes: Alexander Gordon, brother of the deceased man, of Upper Bridgend, Beauly, gave notice of his death. 3 David married Helen COWIE on 26 October 1845 in Kilmorack Parish, Inverness-Shire, Scotland.1 (Helen COWIE was born about 1820 and died before 8 January 1893 3.) |
