  General Notes:

In 1788 the Testament and Inventory, originally signed on 12 July 1770, of John Watson, and his spouse Jean Gordon, in Tullochallum of Achendown nominated and appointed "Alexander Gordon in Landends of Enzie our son in law" as executor of the Will. In the most recent part of the published document the same Alexander Gordon was recorded as "late in Landends of Enzie now in Tochineal".

Alexander was recorded as a farmer in the death certificate of his son, Alexander, in 1870. ^{4 5}

Alexander married Margaret WATSON, daughter of John WATSON in Tullochallum of Achendown and Jean GORDON, on 11 November 1762 in Mortlach parish, Banffshire, Scotland.¹ (Margaret WATSON was born about 1745.)
