George married Issabel GORDON, daughter of Sir Adam GORDON of Park and Christian GORDON.1 (Issabel GORDON was born about 1614.)

Note:

John Innes was the eldest son of Alexander Innes and succeeded to the estate of Leuchar and Cotts. He seems to have had younger brothers: Alexander, Patrick, george, Robert and James.





"George (Innes), had a pair of colours in Lord Spynie's regiment, raised for the service of Gustavus Adolphus, c. 1626. He was afterwards (1653) a Lieutenant Colonel in the King's army, and was laird of Caldcotts. His descendants took their style from Dunkinty, and eventually succeeded to the estate of Leuchars."
