Sarah Corrigan's death certificate of 1877 recorded her as 'married to Patrick Corrigan iron miner'.

In his death certificate of 1878 Patrick Corrigan was recorded as 60 years of age at the time of his death. He was a 'Pauper formerly a Coal Miner' and 'Widower of Sarah Vallely'. Both of his parents were dead.

Patrick Corrigan was an iron miner according to the death certificate of his son, Francis, in 1881. 3 4 5

Thomas Graham MD certified the cause of death.

Patrick Corrigan's son Francis Corrigan, of 5 Inkerman, in Abbey Landward parish, gave notice of his father's death before the registrar, J.F.Smith, at Paisley on 6 July 1878 and made his X mark.

Patrick married Sarah VALLELY, daughter of William VALLELY and Mary KELLY, on 22 May 1828 in Dungannon, County Tyrone, Ireland.1 2 (Sarah VALLELY was born about 1800 and died 27 June 1877 at 6.00 pm in 7 Maxwellton, Paisley, Renfrewshire, Scotland 3 5.). The cause of her death was typhoid fever over 9 days.4
