John George, Mary's widower who had been present where her death occurred, gave notice beore the registrar, William Lindsay, on 16 April 1888 at Kilmaurs.


Mary married John GEORGE, son of Moses GEORGE and Grace BROWN, between 1885 and 1888. (John GEORGE was born in 1826 in Riccarton parish, Ayrshire, Scotland 2 3 and died 6 December 1888 at 6.25 pm in Isles Street, Newmilns, Ayrshire, Scotland 1 4.). The cause of his death was bronchitis and debility.
