General Notes: In 1914 James was the informant of his father in law, Michael's death at Blantyre. James gave his address on that occasion as 32 Hall Street Blantyre. James married Elizabeth McENARNEY, daughter of Michael McENARNEY and Helen MANN, on 30 November 1900 in St Joseph's RC Chapel, Blantyre, Lanarkshire, Scotland. (Elizabeth McENARNEY was born in 1880 in Blantyre, Lanarkshire, Scotland and died 1 June 1917 at 8.50 am in 32 Hall Street, Blantyre, Lanarkshire, Scotland.). The cause of her death was carcinoma of the stomach. Marriage Notes: The marriage took place after banns according to the rites and forms of the Roman Catholic Church. Father Thomas Hackett was the presiding priest. The witnesses were John Campbell and Annie Burns. |
