   Cause of his death was scrofula over 12 months.

  General Notes:

Edward's death certificate in 1858 recorded him as a single man, aged 15 years, who was a worker in a coal pit.

  Medical Notes:

There was no immediate medical attendant for Edward according to his death certificate, therefore no-one to certify the cause of death.

Patrick Reidy, the sexton, certified that Edward was laid to rest in the burial ground of St John's Barrhead.

James Lynch, Edward's brother, informed the registrar at Paisley, Daniel Cherry, on 24 December 1858 of Edward's death. 1
