At 74 years she was the same age as her husband and was noted as being a cotton weaver's wife. She had been born at Newmilns. Medical Notes: M. W. Aird MB CM certified the cause of death. Elizabeth married William MILLAR, son of William MILLER and Jean KENNEDY, on 15 February 1829 in Galston, Ayrshire, Scotland. (William MILLAR was born in 1806 in Ayr, Ayrshire, Scotland and died on 1 July 1888 in Isles Street, Newmilns, Ayrshire, Scotland.). The cause of his death was apoplexy over 1 month. Marriage Notes: A record of 14 February 1829 at Loudoun Ayrshire is likely to be proclamation of banns. |
