Another name for John was McRAE, John.5 6 7 General Notes: The 1861 census recorded John McRae [sic] and his wife Mary living with their children, including Samuel from Mary's earlier marriage, at 163 Dalmarnock Road in the Calton district of Glasgow. John married Mary McLEAN on 2 June 1854 in Kilmarnock Parish, Ayrshire, Scotland.1 (Mary McLEAN was born in 1819 in Campbeltown, Argyllshire, Scotland 5 6 7 9 and died 3 June 1886 at 7.30 am in Robert's Wynd, Falkirk, Stirlingshire, Scotland 6.). The cause of her death was mitral disease of the heart over 6 months. |
