In 1851 the UK census for Byker, Newcastle Upon Tyne, recorded William Quigley as head of a household living in Gardner's Buildings. With him lived his wife, Ann, their son and daughter and one lodger. Ann was 29 years old and had been born in Longtown, Cumberland. 3


Ann married William QUIGLEY, son of Bernard QUIGLY Potter and Ann NICHOLSON, between October and December 1843 in Newcastle Upon Tyne, Northumberland, England.1 (William QUIGLEY was born about 1817 in Dumfries, Scotland.)
