Another name for Albert was BATEMAN, Al.4 General Notes: The 1900 Federal US Census for Washington State recorded Albert and Isabel Bateman and their two children living on Ninth Street in Vancouver Precinct, Clark County. The head of the family, Albert was recorded as being born in June 1854, making him 45 years of age. He had been born in Washington state, and had been married for 14 years. His father was born in Pennsylvania and his mother in Ireland. he could read, write and speak English and by occupation was a policeman. He owned the house they lived in without a mortgage. Albert married Isabel QUIGLEY, daughter of Arthur QUIGLY and Jane THOMSON, in 1886.1 (Isabel QUIGLEY was born on 1 March 1854 in Wahkiakum, Washington Territory, USA,2 5 died on 20 February 1927 in Vancouver, Clark County, Washington State, USA 2 and was buried in Vancouver, Clark County, Washington State, USA 2.) |
