Another name for James was FRAZER, James. General Notes: James Frazer, one of 192 convicts transported on the Albion, 21 September 1826. He was convicted at Middlesex Gaol. He was sentenced to Life. He travelled aboard the ship,Albion, departing 21st September, 1826, arriving 21st May, 1827 at New South Wales. James married Ann QUIGLEY, daughter of Peter QUIGLY and Mary O'HARA, 19 February 1831(permission granted) in Sydney, New South Wales, Australia. (Ann QUIGLEY was born in 1813 and died in 1865 in Sydney, New South Wales, Australia.) Marriage Notes: On 19 February 1831 Ann Quigley and James Fraser were granted permission to marry. The clergyman who married them was John McGarvie of Sydney. Ann was 18 years of age and had come free to Sydney. James Fraser was 23 years old and serving a life sentence as a convict in Australia. He had come to Australia aboard the vessel Albion. |
