"David Skene appears to have gone as a young man to Poland, and was admitted burgess of Posen in 1586.

He returned, however, as early as 1593 to Belhelvie, as in 11th June, 1597, there is a horning against David Skene at the Mylne of Potterton, on a bond, dated at Aberdeen, 7th June, 1593, and served personalie upon him at his dwalland place of the Mylne of Potterton in the end of 1596."

POLLERTON

'Pollerton' and 'Potterton' are both used, apparently, as the name of an estate in the parish of Belhelvie, Aberdeenshire. 2


David married Daughter UDNY, daughter of William UDNY of that Ilk and Unknown.1 (Daughter UDNY was born about 1575.)
