Margaret married James BOYLAN, son of Felix BOYLAN and Mary BRADY, on 30 June 1906 in St Margaret's RC Chapel, Ayr, Scotland.¹ (James BOYLAN was born about 1879 and died after 10 June 1933.)

The marriage was celebrated according to the rites and forms of the Roman Catholic Church. D. Collins was the celebrating priest. Thomas Scullion and Veronica Donachie were the witnesses.

James Boylan was a single man who worked as a blacksmith. He was aged 27 years and lived at 25 South Harbour Street Ayr. His mother was deceased.

Margaret Donachie was also single and was aged 25 years. She worked as a laundress. She lived at Ayr District Asylum. Her mother too was deceased.

The marriage was registered at Ayr on 2 July 1906. ¹
