(Charles HARDIE Violinist was born in 1849 in Methlick parish, Aberdeenshire, Scotland,3 died on 1 August 1893 in Aberdeen, Scotland 10 11 and was buried in 1893 in Methlick parish Churchyard, Aberdeenshire, Scotland 10.)

The marriage was celebrated according to the forms of the Wesleyan Methodist Church. The celebrant was John Judge, Wesleyan Minister of Union Terrace Wesleyan Church. The witnesses were John Smith and George Manson.

Charles Hardie [sic] was a journeyman joiner, aged 36 years and unmarried. He lived at 97 Skene Street Aberdeen. His father was deceased.

Elizabeth McPhee was also single and was 25 years old. She lived at 52 Powis Place Aberdeen. She worked as a dressmaker. Her father was deceased.

The marriage was registered on 17 February 1886 at Aberdeen, James Weston jnr being the registrar. 8
