Margaret married Alexander NISBET (DNA Link), son of Alexander Sandilands NISBET (DNA Linked) and Isabella HAIMES (DNA Linked), on 18 November 1887 in Sidney Hall Congregational Church, 4 West Newington Place, Edinburgh, Scotland.1 2 3 (Alexander NISBET (DNA Link) was born on 17 February 1867 in Edinburgh, Scotland and died 22 December 1939 at 2.05 am in Royal Infirmary, Edinburgh, Scotland 5.). The cause of his death was carcinoma of the colon, cachexia, anuria, and heart failure.


  Marriage Notes:

The marriage took place according to the forms of the Congregational Church. A.D. Robertson, Minister of Sidney Hall Congregational Church, Edinburgh presided. The witnesses were Alfred Kidson and Margaret Muir.

Alexander Nisbet was 19 years old, a bachelor, and lived at 20 Gifford Park Edinburgh. He was an iron moulder by trade.

Margaret Pugh was also single, aged 19 years, and of the same address. She was a domestic servant.

The marriage was registered at Edinburgh on 24 November 1887.

Note:
"The church meeting in Sydney Hall was formed in 1878 by members of a meeting held in that hall for some time prior to that year, and the first pastor was the late Mr. A. D. Robertson."
