Elizabeth Tweedley was recorded by the 1881 census for Govan parish living with her parents and brother at 262 Cumberland Street. She was unmarried and aged 20 years. She had been born in Glasgow. No occupation was noted for her. ²

Elizabeth married Mary McKENDRY on 17 Nov 1911 in George Street, Falkirk, Stirlingshire, Scotland.^{3 4} (Mary McKENDRY was born about 1782 and died before 6 Aug 1855.)

  Marriage Notes:

The marriage took place after banns according to the forms of the Church of Scotland. The minister who married the couple was A. Ross Taylor. The witnesses were Charles H. Mitchell and Maggie M. Moffat.

William Paton was a journeyman plumber of 45 Mary Street, Falkirk. He was a bachelor and 27 years old.

Jeannie Deans Nisbet was a single woman who worked as a domestic servant. She was 29 years old and lived at Wellside Terrace, Falkirk. Both of her parents were deceased.

The marriage was registered on 18 November 1911 at Falkirk, the registrar signing E. K. Hunter. ⁴
