When Bridget's son Thomas was born, it was a neighbour called Alice McGill who gave notice of his birth. The birth certificate recorded Bridget as giving birth to her second child, she having one boy already living. Bridget was recorded as aged 28 and having been born in Connaught, Ireland.

When her husband Peter died in 1891, Bridget was already dead. ^{2 3}

The cause of his death was general debility.
