  General Notes:

Alice McGill, a neighbour, was the informant of the birth of Thomas Quigley. She gave notice before William Patrick, registrar, at Glasgow on February 24 1855 and made her X mark. Thomas was his mother's second child. the certificate records the informant, Alice, as having been present at the birth. ⁴

Thomas married on 17 Jul 1680 in Saint Nicholas Parish, Aberdeen, Scotland.^{1 2}
