VALLELY, Mary

Mary married James DIAMOND, son of Hugh Bryce DIAMOND and Mary Ann GLEN, on 20 Sep 1906 in St Mary's RC Church, Abercrombie Street, Glasgow, Scotland.¹ (James DIAMOND was born about 1866.)

  Marriage Notes:

James was a journeyman bricklayer of 153 Garngad Road Glasgow. He was aged 40 years and a bachelor. Both of his parents were deceased at the time of his marriage.

Mary lived at 94 Bellgrove Street Glasgow and was aged 37 years. She had not been married before, and like James, her parents were deceased.

The marriage was celebrated according to the rites and forms of the Roman Catholic Church. Fr John J. Dyer solemnised the marriage. The witnesses were John Vallely and Kate Lynch. The marriage was registered on 26 September 1906, James Moore acting as registrar. ¹

Mary next married Martha LYNASS, daughter of William John LYNASS and Eliza WILSON, on 14 Dec 1710 in Old Machar parish, Aberdeen, Scotland.² (Martha LYNASS was christened in Jan 1844 in Belfast, County Antrim, Ireland and died after 10 Nov 1855.)
