   Cause of his death was carcinoma of the face of 20 years' duration.

  General Notes:

Arthur was a 'gas manager'. His address in 1881 was 68 Drumtocher Road Greenock.

In 1891 Arthur George Quigley was recorded aged 38 years in the census. Another Arthur George Quigley aged 8 years was also recorded, both at Glencorse in the county of Edinburgh.

He was a 'work manager' in 1906 according to his death certificate. His age was given as 66 years. ⁴

Arthur's son, also called Arthur, gave notice of his father's death.

Arthur married Flora McVICAR on 20 Jul 1881 in Clydeside Place, Greenock Road, Port Glasgow, Renfrewshire, Scotland.¹ (Flora McVICAR was born on 18 Apr 1856 in Tradeston, Glasgow, Scotland ⁵ and died after 18 Jul 1906.)

  Marriage Notes:

The marriage was conducted according to the forms of the Church of Scotland, and the officiating minister was John Reid.

The witnesses were Jeanie McVicar and Stuart Quigley.
