Alexander Milroy, aged 22 years, of Barnhill Kirkcowan, married Hannah Lyness according to the rites of the Established Church of Scotland.

Hannah was aged 20 years and was unmarried and a domestic sevant. She was of Camalzie. Both of her parents were deceased.

Alexander made his X mark.

The minister was James Reid, minister of Kirkinner, and the witnesses were James McCulloch and Mary Gilchrist.

The marriage was registered at Kirkinner on 26 December 1866, R. B. Mantle being registrar. 3
