Margaret's death certificate recorded her as 11 years old when she died. ¹

The cause of death was certified but the name of the person doing so is unclear.

Margaret's mother, Mary, who was present where her child died, gave notice of her death before the registrar, John Dickie, at Faulds, Baillieston, on 7 December 1867, and made her X mark.
