AIRLEY, Mary Ann
Other names for Mary were AIRLEY, Mary Anne, CURLEY, mary Ann 4 and EARLY, Mary Ann. Mary married Peter QUIGLEY, son of John QUIGLEY and Rose KEENAN, on 31 Dec 1855 in St Alphonsus RC Church, Glasgow, Scotland.1 2 (Peter QUIGLEY was born about 1835 in County Monaghan, Ireland 2 5 and died 28 April 1884 at 1.30 pm in 11 Balmore Street, Possilpark, Glasgow, Scotland 5 6.). The cause of his death was bronchitis followed by pulmonary apoplexy. Marriage Notes: Peter Quigly of High Street, Glasgow, was aged 19 years and a painter by trade. He was a bachelor, and had been born and registered in County Monaghan, Ireland. He made his X mark in the register. His father, John, was deceased and his mother still living. Mary next married Mathew McANARNAY, son of John McANARNEY and Sarah MARSHALL.3 (Mathew McANARNAY was born on 10 Jul 1842 in Bellshill, Lanarkshire, Scotland 7 8 and was christened on 16 Jul 1842 in St Margaret's RC Chapel, Airdrie, Lanarkshire, Scotland 7.) Marriage Notes: "He (Alexander Livingston) married, secondly (contract 16 and 17 October 1620), Mary Douglas, eldest daughter of William, tenth Earl of Angus, by whom he had another son and two daughters" |
