The cause of his death was carcinoma of bladder over 14 months and suppression of urine over 3 days.

The marriage was celebrated according to the rites and forms of the Roman Catholic Church. Father Peter Donnelly married the couple. The witnesses were Thomas Martin and Maria Queen.
