1901 Census:
Sarah McLaughlin, aged 34 years, was the head of a household living in Scott Street Baillieston. She was an Irish born widow and mother of Jane, aged 9 years, George, aged 7 years, Marjory, aged 4 years, and Edward, aged 1 year, all born in Baillieston. Four boarders also lived in the household. All were 30 years old or under and had been born in Ireland. They were Frank McKenna, Edward McCoole, Patrick McKenna and Manas McLungal (sic). The first two were ploughmen and the last two worked in the pit.

Sarah married Edward McLAUGHLIN on 20 Mar 1887 in Moville, County Donegal, Ireland. (Edward McLAUGHLIN was born about 1865.)

Sarah next married Margret McQUILKAN on 9 Jun 1669. (Margret McQUILKAN was born about 1760.)
