In the 1880 marriage certificate of his son Richard, David Caddell was recorded as being a farm labourer. ²

David married Jane FINNIGAN. (Jane FINNIGAN was born about 1830.)

David next married Sarah McCORMICK, daughter of William McCORMICK and Mary McKENNA.¹ (Sarah McCORMICK was born in 1895-1896.)

"James (see Note below) King married, in 1583 (see Note below), Beatrice, daughter of the deceased John Lumsden of Clova by his wife Elizabeth Menzies, who, as stated above, married William King as his third wife."
