David married Thomas GEORGE, son of Thomas GEORGE and Hannah ORR, on 10 Mar 1881 in 36 Lauder Road, Edinburgh, Scotland. (Thomas GEORGE was born in 1787.)
Marriage Notes:
The marriage took place after the publication of banns according to the forms of the Free Church. The minister was John McEwan, minister of John Knox's Church. The witnesses were William Moncur and Ann Ross.
John Reid, a bachelor, was recorded as 27 years of age and resided at 21 Greenside Road Edinburgh. he worked as a vanman. His parents were deceased.
Mary Sandilands, also unmarried, was recorded as 21 years of age and lived at 4 Semple Street Edinburgh. She was a Rubber Factory worker.
The marriage was registered on March 14 1881 at Edinburgh, B. Paton being the signing registrar.
