Robert married Thomas MAXWELL, son of Thomas MAXWELL and Margaret QUIGLEY.¹ (Thomas MAXWELL was born on 21 Mar 1881 in Bellshill, Lanarkshire, Scotland.)

Issabel's husband was George Innes, not John. A later John Innes of Leuchars settled the Leuchars property on the Innes family of Dunkinty.




"George (Innes), had a pair of colours in Lord Spynie's regiment, raised for the service of Gustavus Adolphus, c. 1626. He was afterwards (1653) a Lieutenant Colonel in the King's army, and was laird of Caldcotts. His descendants took their style from Dunkinty, and eventually succeeded to the estate of Leuchars."
