Another name for Henry was TWEIDIE, Henry.4 General Notes: Henry's death certificate of 1878 recorded that he was a foreman tinsmith, married to Lily Menzies and aged 41 years. Research Notes: Nuneaton Street is near Springfield Rd, in the Dalmarnock area of the east end of Glasgow. Medical Notes: William Mc.G. Burns MD certified the cause of Henry's death. Henry married Lilly MENZIES, daughter of Alexander MENZIES and Jane COWIE, on 29 Jul 1859 in Regent Terrace, Glasgow, Scotland.1 (Lilly MENZIES was born about 1840 in Glasgow, Scotland 6.) Marriage Notes: The marriage took place according to the forms of the Presbyterian Church. The officiating minister was John Graham, of Barrack Street Church, Glasgow. The witnesses were David Fleming and Stewart Morison. Henry next married.2 Marriage Notes: "Agnes, who married (a) Maurice Fitzgerald (d. 1268) [see under Fitzgerald, Maurice, 1194?—1257]; (b) Hugh de Baliol; (c) John of Avesnes; she died about 1310." |
