The 1841 census recorded "Jane Quigley". She was aged 10 years and living in Lockerbie with her family, in Bridge Street. She had been born in Dumfriesshire. Her age suggests she was the second child named Jane/Jean in the family. 2


Jean married Mary SMITH on 28 Jul 1747 in Inveresk With Musselburgh, Midlothian, Scotland.3 (Mary SMITH was born about 1815.)
